MacAulay-Brown Expands Scope of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
DAYTON, Ohio, December 14, 2015 – MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that the company’s Mission Systems Group (MSG) and National Security Group (NSG) have been unconditionally recommended for ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) certification by an independent third-party registrar. MSG and NSG now join MacB’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) on a single certificate – expanding the scope of registration to include all Group operations.
ISO 9001 is an international standard that defines requirements for quality management systems, including policies and objectives, processes and procedures designed to align and support business goals and objectives. Certification demonstrates the company’s commitment, capability and diligence to identify and address customer requirements and preferences, while actively seeking ways to improve business processes, products and services.
“This enterprise-wide certification validates our effort to create, establish and deploy best practices that exceed the mandatory standards outlined by ISO 9001,” said Greg Drozd, MacB Director, Quality and Improvement. “By identifying, defining, executing, measuring and improving our core business processes, we ensure the delivery of the innovative product solutions that our customers have come to recognize and trust.”
