MacB Awarded OPSEC Contract by Joint Information Operations Warfare Center
MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Awarded OPSEC Contract by the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center
DAYTON, Ohio, July 7, 2014 – MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC) to support the Joint Operations Security (OPSEC) Support Element (JOSE). JOSE is responsible for providing OPSEC training, program review, planning and assessments to Combatant Commands (CCMDs).
Under the terms of the contract, MacB will assist the CCMDs, Joint Task Forces (JTFs), military services, DOD agencies and governmental entities as required to establish and maintain critical OPSEC Programs. In addition, MacB will provide trained and experienced OPSEC professionals to augment and support JOSE staff and resources.
“JOSE is the tip of the spear when it comes to protecting the military’s most sensitive information from our adversaries,” said Steve Lewis, Vice President of MacB’s Cyber Intelligence Division. “We look forward to utilizing our extensive Information Operations expertise to increase JOSE’s OPSEC capabilities.”
The contract was awarded by JIOWC through the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Systems and Mission Support II (USAMS II) Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. JIOWC is the joint center of excellence for Information Operations (IO), located at Lackland AFB, Texas.
