MacB to Host Fourth Annual Oktoberfest Celebration at Dayton Headquarters
DAYTON, Ohio September 25, 2017 – MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services, cybersecurity and product solutions, announced today that valued customers, partners and city officials are invited to attend the company’s Fourth Annual Oktoberfest Celebration on Tuesday, October 3 from 3 to 7 p.m. The event, hosted by MacB’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG), offers company executives, senior leaders, and employees an opportunity to welcome honored guests at MacB’s Dayton Corporate Headquarters. The festivities will once again be catered by the famous Schmidt’s Restaurant and Sausage Haus from Columbus, Ohio.
ATG, one of four MacB operating groups, offers a full range of innovative technology, engineering and technical services including Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Logistics and Life Cycle Management, and System Integration Laboratories. The group’s primary focus is serving multiple U.S. Air Force programs based out of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base that include the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFTC), the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).
It’s been a year since ATG opened the new Wright Innovation Laboratory in Dayton to support the warfighter capabilities of MacB’s Electronic Warfare (EW) customers. The facility fully accommodates the design, integration, and testing of prototype sensor systems and subsystems for multiple Air Force programs.
“It’s my distinct pleasure to host Oktoberfest again this year to not only celebrate ATG employees, but also Contracts personnel, Proposal teams, Human Resources, Recruiting, IT, Purchasing and many other departments behind-the-scenes that help support us,” said Tim Lawrence, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB’s Advanced Technology Group. “It’s also a way for our long-term customers and partners to connect names with faces, and celebrate another successful year as we plan for technical and tactical program expansion in 2018 and beyond.”
