Serving a diverse set of customers with solutions to their engineering challenges is one of our foundational core competencies. Our approach is system engineering based. Our engineers provide three letter agencies, AFRL, AFLCMC, NASIC, the MAJCOMs, sister services and industry with expertise in all aspects of engineering, including system analysis, development planning, hardware/software engineering, identification of alternatives, analyses related to Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages, reverse engineering and the evaluation of prime contractor recommendations. We provide these customers highly specialized products and services including expertise in airworthiness assessments, information/software assurance, anti-tamper, trust and special mission products among others.
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) protects the U.S and its allies against limited ballistic missile attack. We provide strategic engineering support to the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Engineering Directorate. Our subject matter experts deliver engineering and technical advisory and analytical support for concept development, program studies, assessments, analysis, critical issue resolution and strategic planning.
The Intelligence Community and the military face a dynamic threat environment. The ability to react quickly with the right tools is critical to mission success. When time, precision and innovation is of the essence, customers turn to our cleared mechanical engineering team to design unique tradecraft product solutions. They rely on our Quick Reaction Capability to significantly decrease the design, development and delivery process. With over 60,000 square feet of cleared facility space in the Northern Virginia area, we are uniquely positioned to respond immediately to almost any need.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is the single center responsible for total life cycle management of Air Force weapon systems. We support the AFLCMC as part of the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) system. LAIRCM is an evolutionary acquisition program that provides significantly improved defensive systems capability for DoD aircraft to counter the infrared (IR) man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) missile threat. We provide RDT&E support and analyze performance results to ensure the Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) systems meet the Air Force’s stringent performance requirements for use on the C-5 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster and C-130 Hercules aircraft. As a collaborative member of the LAIRCM team, we have been instrumental in ensuring the performance of the integrated system through analysis of data from realistic laboratory, simulation and open-air test range environments. Our team also supports a wide range of engineering and testing products relating to the LAIRCM program, including participation on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), analyzing system problems and risk areas and verifying test results.
The Combined Air Operations Center-Experimental (CAOC-X) is a joint effort between Air Combat Command and Air Force Materiel Command to team operators, acquisition professionals, testers and industry to quickly field the newest technologies and processes for air operations centers. We play an integral role in integrating prototype capabilities and processes in support of concept development and experimentation. In addition, we provide operational and technical personnel for event testing, evaluation, analysis and assessment, including providing test personnel when needed, as well as developing industry best practices to support and facilitate system and network certification and accreditation (C&A) activities and participation in C&A tests, evaluations and assessments.
The Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) Sensors Directorate mission is to ensure unequaled reconnaissance, surveillance, precision engagement and electronic warfare capabilities for America’s Air and Space Forces by developing, demonstrating and transitioning advanced sensors and sensor technologies. We partner with AFRL to provide Research and Development (R&D) on both Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sensor technologies, primarily related to Electronic Warfare (EW); new and innovative technologies and techniques, improved infrastructure and lab support.
The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) is the primary Defense Department producer of foreign aerospace intelligence. NASIC develops its products by analyzing all available data on foreign aerospace forces and weapons systems to determine performance characteristics, capabilities, vulnerabilities and intentions. We deliver Test and Evaluation (T&E) services to NASIC’s Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) laboratory to asses foreign equipment and to better understand potential threat systems.
MacB manages and supports the Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), a core system of the Air Force. AFEMS is a 24×7 on-line integrated database management system (classified and unclassified) that processes data from multiple AFMC, HQ USAF and base level data systems.
Utilizing SEI Level 3 CMMI processes, our experienced cyber and software engineers develop software that ensures compliance with the critical Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and certification to operate on the Global Information Grid on the NIPRNet and SIPRNet. In addition, we provide provides 24×7 Level I and Level II technical support for AFEMS application software.
