MacB provides IT systems engineering and design, Web server development and data base development and administrative support for a variety of programs and initiatives within the intelligence community. We possess comprehensive understanding of local and national network architecture and system integration related to National to Theater (NTT) AGI processing, exploitation and dissemination (PED).
Included in this effort is support for the development and fielding of new automated Advanced Geo-spatial Intelligence (AGI) technologies for the 513th MI Brigade in support of US Central Command (USCENTCOM), US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM/SOF) and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) information requirements.
MacB provides systems engineering and highly technical network expertise, configuration management, vulnerability assessments, test and evaluation, as well as validation and verification.
Additionally, personnel are responsible for security infrastructure (which includes operating systems, security administration, monitoring and tuning system performance, capacity planning, patch installation/configuration, collaboration tools and application training), as well as data base management for C2ISR systems and networks utilized by the Combatant Commanders for theater command and control spanning all levels of conflict.
The Air Force Equipment Management System is a mission critical core system of the USAF. MacB provides systems operations, maintenance and sustainment, projects/system changes, security compliance, configuration/data management and other general tasks.
We also provide technical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week to correct failures of AFEMS application software and/or to answer user questions. The team supports more than 7,000 users to resolve questions/issues that are complex in nature and require AFEMS application-specific knowledge and subject matter expertise.
That support includes modifications, enhancements and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for classified and unclassified Support Equipment, Asset Inventory Management (AIM) and Equipment Requirements System (ERS).
MacB provides technical support to the Future Joint Development (FJFD) mission, which is to develop joint concepts, analyze capability gaps and actively research, develop and integrate relevant non-materiel solutions, lessons and best practices across the DOTmLPF spectrum.
The goal is to support increasing capability for the current and future joint force, and provide planning and execution services of technical support activities that include the following:
- Communications systems and networks
- Information Assurance
- Operational support for Models and Simulations
MacB’s wholly-owned-subsidiary, Gray Research, Inc., was the prime contractor responsible for operating, maintaining and modernizing the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) MDDC. The MDDC functions as an automated data processing facility (240 mid-tier and CSA-like platforms) for the ingestion, archival, inventory, verification, cataloging, access, dissemination and protection of the data products.
We provided expertise in data management, systems engineering, Automated Data Processing (ADP) operations, library management, network administration, security, configuration management and quality assurance, software systems and support for MDDC users. This included archiving and preserving BMD data in various formats, comprehensive security to control access, executing efficient data management and distribution and enhancing data availability, utility and quality for current and future data users.
MacB provides information technology support services to the MSFC, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), in the area of Customer Experience Management, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), receipt, processing and closing of customer service requests, and 24/7 customer support center operation.
Additionally, MacB provides Service Integration and Delivery that includes directives management, records management, forms management and coordination of all scientific and technical information.
In support of the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) we provided software engineering services in support of the Electronic Database Management System (EDMS), Acquisition Workflow, AMEDO Advanced Medical Technology Initiative Proposal System (AAMTI), telemedicine applications, pilot research programs and other database and/or web based computing projects.
We provided IT/IA Program Management support for Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) personnel and contractors, supporting servers, workstations, laptops, monitors, printers/copiers/network scanners, electronic whiteboards and VTC equipment.
We also provided content and systems support for a variety of data, image and multi-media file formats, managing the document and media information structure and accessibility of information for the Institute of Surgical Research.
MacB provides engineers, technicians, software developers, and specialists on-site (and on-call) to administer ASA-SOUTHCOM Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) systems and networks.
Duties include supporting user services, installation and upgrade services, as well as information assurance, logistics, supply support, hardware and software support, help desk services, video teleconferencing (VTC) and conference room expertise, and technical facility control and training support.
MacB integrates any technology changes and upgrades as approved by the contracting officer to meet user requirements, and maintain operational currency of IT/IM systems and networks.
MacB supports USSTRATCOM Training, Exercise and Experimentation Services (TE2S) and Test and Integration Facility (TIF). Additionally, we are responsible for the Test and Integration Facility’s (TIF) various experimentation efforts regarding Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products for potential use within USSTRATCOM.
