We developed Big Data Platform (BDP), the only Department of Defense (DoD) accredited unclassified/secret cloud and bid data platform for data ingest, analytics, and visualization for a variety of use cases, including cyber situational awareness, cyberspace operations, intelligence information enrichment, attribution, and insider threat detection.
BDP enables integration and aggregation of data from various sources across the DoD Tier 1 network and facilitates real-time analysis to protect the DoD Information Networks (DoDIN) and support mission requirements. BDP allows custom big data and analytic solution to be deployed on NIPR, SIPR and Skydive. BDP has Authority to Operate (ATO) and technology readiness level (TRL) 9.
Our data analytics supports the analysis and reporting function for multi-terabytes of data on a daily basis. We have developed and deployed more than 200 analytics for monitoring, cyber threat detection, and mitigation across Department of Defense (DoD) datasets. Our Fight-by-Indicator (FbI) analytics suite performs more than four billion web blocks per year. We also provide significant visualization capabilities using cutting-edge open source big data caching technologies.
MacB’s Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC) developed its proprietary Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework (RADMF) for the key analytic components of the Big Data Platform (BDP). RADMF deploys within minutes and eliminates hardware, power, space, cooling and sustainability requirements and utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS), the very first cloud service provider (CSP) to achieve a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Level 3-5 Authorization.
The amount of Big Data present in today’s virtual systems can be overwhelming. EITC supplies solutions to help customers ingest, maintain, and store massive amounts of data. Our team has designed, operated, and sustained multi-petabyte network clusters, and for many of our mission partners, we support analysis and reporting functions for multi-terabytes of data per day.
With extensive Amazon GovCloud and automated cloud provisioning experience, EITC’s team of engineers are leaders in Cloud services innovation.
Due to the growing number of cyber threats to both government and commercial systems, EITC emphasizes secure development and product environments, working in both unclassified and classified environments. The team has extensive experience in securing sensitive networks and data.
We understand how critical it is to develop, deploy, and sustain security-based systems that combat cyber threats in a timely manner and support the entire complex system development lifecycle so that networks, systems, and information cannot be compromised and government operations are protected from damaging cyber attacks.
Enlighten established, and currently maintains, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) groundbreaking Big Data Platform (BDP), a robust scalable architecture that enables data-sharing, visualization, and analysis across the Department of Defense (DoD). Our team of technical experts are skilled in automated cloud provisioning and continuous integration and deployment in a DevOps model.
