Who We Are
Service is engrained in the culture at MacB. Throughout the organization, our employees look for ways to give back to the community.
Philanthropy: MacB plays a key philanthropic role in various communities, particularly when it comes to the men and women who have been wounded in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan or any other part of the Middle East as part of the Global War on Terrorism. The company has contributed time and money to provide much needed medical devices, counseling services and scholarships for families and children of the men and women who have served and died in the line of duty. Contributions include the Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, the Special Operations Defense Industry Scholarship Fund, Special Operations Survivors, Operation Second Chance and other intelligence communities.
Volunteer Work: MacB supports the following organizations through volunteer work, sponsorships or monetary contributions: American Heart Association, Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort, Blue Star Mothers, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation, local food and clothing drives in the Dayton and Washington, D.C. areas and other local charities.
Betting on the Future: The MacB senior leadership team is committed to mentoring tomorrow’s business and technology leaders. Employees at all levels of the company spend countless hours every year guest lecturing, teaching, advising and offering business insights to students across the U.S. We are also a major supporter of advancing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs and initiatives to inspire future scientists and engineers that will one day provide the innovative technology solutions that we rely on to keep the U.S. safe and secure.
Science and Engineering Sponsor: For the last six years, MacB has supported the Miami Valley Science & Engineering Fair and West District Science Day in Ohio, hosted by Central State University. The company is a Bronze-level corporate sponsor at the largest District Science Day in the state. More than 400 students from 180 schools (grades 5 through 12) participate for eligibility to compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), as well as a state-wide competition. At the event, MacB also honors students in grades 9-12 with Special Awards in the Engineering category.
Corporate Memberships and Affiliations: MacB employees are encouraged to join local and national industry and professional associations. We are active members in most of the major national security-related associations, and hold board or executive level positions with the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and Association of Old Crows (AOC).
