Dan Gutierrez

Senior Vice President and General Manager,  National Security Group

Dan Gutierrez is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the National Security Group (NSG), for MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB).

As executive in charge, he is responsible for leading the NSG organization in Technical Cyber, Intelligence/Mission Support and Engineering activities across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence communities. Core competencies include design and fabrication, cyber software system design, development and test and evaluation, reverse engineering, solution integrator, multi-intelligence Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED), mission assurance and operations/mission planning.

Mr. Gutierrez has more than 35 years of experience in demanding positions within the Intelligence and Cyber communities. He joined MacB in 2010 and previously led NSG’s Cyber Intelligence Division in San Antonio, and was Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Operations and NSG Operations. Prior to joining MacB, he worked as Department Manager for Northrop Grumman-TASC Cyber and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Support. In this role, he was responsible for leading Cyber and Intelligence advisory services activities in San Antonio, Texas and Joint Forces markets. Mr. Gutierrez was responsible for the business development and execution of more than $28 million in annual sales for 100 employees in five U.S. offices.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman-TASC, he served a distinguished 20-year career with the U.S. Air Force, retiring in January 2000. Mr. Gutierrez held positions as a Signals Intelligence analyst and on special assignments that included Intelligence planning and executing high priority initiatives. He served in the Electronic Security Command, Air Force Intelligence Command and its successor – the Air Intelligence Agency in San Antonio. During his career, he received the distinctive Air Force Intelligence Award, Senior NCO category, and earned a degree in Communications Applications Technology. He is a member of the Air Force Association, Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association, and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.
