Fred Norman

Norman FSenior Vice President and General Manager, Mission Systems Group

Fred Norman is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mission Systems Group (MSG) for MacB. As head of MSG, Mr. Norman supervises a team of intelligence analysts, operations, logistics, engineers, information technology, aircraft maintainers, and other technical personnel that provide national security solutions to DoD and DHS customers. MSG’s primary focus is to provide Strategic Planning, Engineering, Intelligence, Operations, Strategic and Logistics Services to Combatant Commands and Special Operations Forces. Mr. Norman is responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and DoD customers throughout the United States.

Mr. Norman previously led MSG’s Operations and Logistics Division which focused on providing customer help on AFSOC, USASOC, JSOC, SOCOM, AFRL, NSWC, Air Logistics Center, Army Medical, Civil Engineering and CBRNE programs. Prior to joining MacB, Mr. Norman was with the Titan Systems Corporation, Communications Engineering Group as the Director of the Advanced Concepts Branch with the R&D / Advanced Concept Division. While at Titan, Mr. Norman assisted with multiple C4ISR initiatives with the DOE, DARPA, USAF and Navy customers. In this position, Mr. Norman was responsible for developing concept of operations using advanced technologies to meet warfighter requirements.

Mr. Norman spent more than 20 years as an active duty officer in the U.S. Air Force, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has extensive experience in Command and Control, Reconnaissance and Air Operations spanning all levels of warfare from tactical to strategic including combat operations. Specifics include more than 17 years experience in contingency planning & OPLAN execution of operations, including Golden Pheasant, Just Cause, Desert Shield/Storm, and Uphold Democracy. He has also assisted USSOUTHCOM, USPACOM, USEUCOM, USCENTCOM, USSOCOM, JSOC, and AFSOC with highly-sensitive C4ISR, Joint/Coalition Operations Center, and Joint Reconnaissance operations. The Association of Old Crows (AOC) has recognized Mr. Norman’s outstanding Electronic Combat and Reconnaissance work for Desert Shield/Storm. He is a member of the Air Force Association, AOC, and National Defense Industry Association.

Mr. Norman earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Norwich University. He has achieved Master Navigator and Electronic Warfare ratings, and earned training certifications in Joint Command & Control Warfare, and Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) operations.
