MacB in the News

MacB to be featured on the Discovery Channel, May 27th, 2010

MacB personnel, along with their military counterparts, will be featured in an upcoming episode of the popular Military Channel television program, ‘Toughest Military Jobs.’ The program will feature Air Force Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Airmen participating in Combat Battlefield Ready Airman (CoBRA) training at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. MacB and our partner, AT Solutions, perform curriculum development and instructor duties for CoBRA under an Air Combat Command (ACC) CAAS III Task Order to prepare EOD Airmen for forward deployment. The training eliminates Airmen from attending various venues and consolidates it into a three-week Air Force specific course. Modular EOD units come from multiple Air Force bases to train as a cohesive unit for deployments with U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and NATO forces conducting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The episode is scheduled for broadcast Thursday, 27 May, at 9PM Eastern and Pacific Time on the Discovery Channel’s Military Channel. The ‘Toughest Military Jobs ‘series is produced by Indigo Films, a commercial television production company based in San Rafael, California, and highlights tough, dirty, or dangerous military specialties.
