Who We Are
Shawn Justice is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Enlighten IT Group (EITG) for MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB). He is responsible for leading his team on the rapid development and deployment of cyber technology to support the nation’s security missions. Mr. Justice founded Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC) in 2007, and served as Chief Executive Officer for eight years. EITC was acquired by MacB in December 2016.
Mr. Justice is a highly-recognized expert in cybersecurity, with more than 15 years of experience supporting customers from the Department of Defense (DoD) and other intelligence communities with leading technology solutions that enhance warfighter capabilities and defense.
Prior to founding Enlighten, Mr. Justice was a systems integrator at Leading Edge Design and Systems, where he led the integration of essential C4ISR data ingest and analysis tools. He also served in the U.S. Navy for eight years on exemplary tours of duty. Mr. Justice rose quickly through the enlisted ranks in the technically-demanding cryptologic field, and gained career expertise in hardware and software isolation, as well as in repairing state-of-the-art electronic, computer, and network equipment and related systems for the Navy.
Mr. Justice is passionate about sustaining an organizational culture that values “technology-forward innovation” over traditional business development activities. His management style allows his team to make mistakes, which he believes will ultimately drive them to achieve even greater success. He has fostered a sense of pride across the organization for protecting clients’ cyber spaces and ultimately, the men and women in uniform defending our Nation.
