Who We Are
President and Chief Executive Officer
Sid Fuchs is the President and Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company with over 1,500 employees worldwide that provides innovative engineering services, cybersecurity, and advanced product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies. He is an accomplished and recognized thought leader, executive, and National Security authority with a 30-year track record of leading and building companies and organizations ranging in size from $100M to over $1.5B in annual revenue that deliver results.
His career includes positions of responsibility as a CIA Intelligence Officer, political appointee, university faculty member, and CEO and board member in leading Fortune 100®, publically traded, private equity sponsored, and privately owned corporations in a variety of business models and industries.
In 1986, Mr. Fuchs was recruited by the CIA where he spent a decade as an operations and technical officer. He then went on to sales and executive positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Oracle, and Northrop Grumman and was the President and CEO of TASC, Inc., where he led the company to cross the $1B revenue threshold in 2005. He joined MacB in 2011.
He is the author of “Get Off the Bench”, an Amazon Top 20 business book that discusses the concepts and methodologies of building productive professional relationships. Mr. Fuchs is a frequent public speaker to universities, corporations, and government agencies on a variety of business, leadership, and strategy topics.
A graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) with BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Fuchs was inducted into LSU’s College of Engineering Hall of Distinction in 2012 and the LSU Alumni Hall of Distinction in 2016, and currently serves as the Executive in Residence for the LSU College of Engineering. He is also a graduate of the CIA Special Operations and Training School and the CIA Analysis School.
